Life Insight
The times are semantically-challenging. For decades abortion supporters have honed the art of equivocation. Sometimes the sleight-of-tongue is as simple as substituting "product of conception" for preborn child, or employing "choice" instead of abortion. A word like abortion is, after all, a wellspring of negative connotations. Recently, another euphemism for abortion has proved remarkably versatile: "pregnancy termination." This site defines when Life does begin and provides detailed information on the so-called morning after pill, i.e., a chemical abortion.

Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program
It is estimated that there are over 400,000 frozen embryos in cryo-banks in the United States.
When embryos are created, life begins. When embryos are implanted and a woman becomes pregnant, the development continues until the birth of the child. When a family has been successful in having a child through in vitro fertilization, remaining embryos are often cryo-preserved. These are pre-born children waiting for a chance at life. This results in the question of what to do with the remaining embryos. These frozen embryos can be the hope of a child for an infertile couple. This frozen embryo adoption program has been named Snowflakes™ because embryos are unique and fragile, just like a snowflake.

California Institute of Regenerative Medicine
Warning: The official site of the CIRM, an California State organization involved in Embryonic Stem Cell research that involves the destruction of human embryos. Do No Harm

Adult Stem cell research promises great good and is a worthy scientific priority as long as we pursue it ethically. Obtaining stem cells from people without seriously harming people in the process can be ethical. However, obtaining stem cells from human embryos cannot be ethical because it necessarily involves destroying those embryos.
Adult Stem Cell Successes
This site lists current current applications of Adult Stem Cells in the report "Selected References Documenting the Scientific Advances in “Adult” Stem Cell Research– Current Treatments Update" (Post-Natal or Tissue Stem Cells, which are not derived from embryos).
